Cops: Suspect purchased $600 in goods with stolen bank card

GOOSE CREEK, SC (WCSC)- Goose Creek police are asking for the public's help in identifying a man who they say used a stolen bank card to purchase $600 work of merchandise.

According to an incident report, the stolen bank card was used on December 26, 2012 at a Walmart, Bi-Lo, and Sunoco in Goose Creek. The three purchases totaled approximately $600.

Police say they spoke with the card owner on December 27 after she noticed that her debit card was missing and unauthorized charges were on her account.

The victim says she must have accidentally dropped her debit card while getting out of her car after going to an ATM and Bi-Lo.
